Take
your measurements. Use a tape measure, register your hips and waist
measurements. You will need these measurements to determine the size of the
business model of the purchase skirts or plaid
patchwork mini dress.
Choose
a business model for a skirt. Use your waist and hip measurements to choose the
right size. Buy the business model in its size.
Purchase
cloth for the skirt, which covers the fabric like the rainbow
stripe patchwork dress (if desired), the corresponding cable and notions
(zippers or buttons). Use the printed instructions on the back of the business
model on to determine how many yards of fabric and notions will be needed for
the skirt.
Reduce
fabric and lining. Place the fabric and lining material in the washer, using the
settings you will use when washing the garment is completed. Dry the fabric and
lining of the medium temperature. These steps ensure that the skirt does not
shrink when washed.
Fix
the pattern parts to the fabric (and lining) and cut the skirt pieces. Following
the instructions and diagrams, place the pattern pieces on the fabric, unless
otherwise noted. Fix the parts in place and cut each piece of the model.
Transfer
of pattern marks to the fabric. Use a chalk piece to mark transfer important
places like darts and zipper or buttons on the wrong side of the fabric.
Prepare
the machine for sewing. Pass the sewing machine and insert the bobbin with
thread of the same color as the fabric.
Sew the skirt. Follow the steps in the business model. Usually the skirts
are assembled in the following way: darts and push (small seams that give ease
to the skirt), sew and press the seams, insert the zipper, place the belt to
make and press the hem and paste buttons Or close hand. When lining the skirt,
sew and press the lining seams, followed by an edge (pressed too much). Place
the lining on the skirt at the waist just before the seam at the waist of the
skirt.
